Vichy Essentielles Foaming Facial Cleanser Review!

The hunt for the perfect skincare routine continues, it's a hunt that may never end, but it's fun to search right? This month I've been dipping my toes in the #Vichy #skincare pool, having heard amazing things about this brand I decided it was time to give it a go. I started with the Essentielles Foaming Facial Cleanser. Since I'm looking to save time during the week where my skincare routine is concerned the idea of a foaming face wash that breaks down the majority of my makeup on the first application sounded good.

They say -  Essentielles, with rose polyphenol, glycerin,Vichy Thermal Spa Water. It protects, hydrates and soothes your skin to give you that healthy and radiant glow!
It's Paraben-free (yay), hypoallergenic and previously tested on sensitive skin under dermatological control before marketed. The rose element teamed with the other ingredients give it a soothing quality that I love and is somewhat hard to achieve in drugstore/high street available skincare, so this was pleasing to say the least. I've been using it for a little over six weeks as the first step in my week night routine and I really like that it's a time saver that leaves my skin soft without much reaction from my sensitive skin. It's also made me want to try out the rest of the Essentielles range to see if I have as good an experience with those items as I had with this.
You can pick up Vichy products online & at most pharmacies!

#Makeup Monday! : Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer.

Hi guys! Day two of Theme Week and we have #Makeup Monday! I have to share with you one of my 'holy grail' products - in fact this entire line of products earn a rightful place on that list, but this in particular is the latest addition! The +Bourjois Paris Deutschland. For the longest time I had issues with conclear, as most of us do from time to time, but because I never knew my 'type' of skin I was using products too drying for the skin type I'm stuck with and thus making it so much worse. That went on for a few years, before I really began getting into skincare and makeup and started really paying attention, from then on out I've tried to make more educated choices and not just pick something because 'ooh pretty' - but to be honest that wins out every now and again, I won't lie!

With the Healthy Mix range I've fallen in love with the original foundation ( a staple!) and even the serum (which apparently is better for my skin type but I still prefer the original, personal preference an all that jazz) and now the concealer.

I purchased the lightest shade (51) as we know it's for my Casper skin tone, so the lightest fits perfectly on me. In the photos (I blame my crappy lighting, sorry!) It appears a little more yellow toned than it is in real life and in day light for that matter, but trust me if you are a pale chick like me these are plenty pale!

Everyone and their Mamma knows what a fantastic brand Bourjois is, I mean it's been on the go since the 1800s and there are not very many brands today that can claim that kind of longevity, so they must be doing something right, right?

Damn right.

I stopped using their foundations to try others this past few weeks, and as far as highstreet available brands are concerned this is my favourite - I'm not scared to say it, they're THAT good.

The conclear itself goes on smooth, and creamy with a rich texture of satin as it glides on the under eye and on any discolouration or blemishing you may have. It's so light it almost fades like moouse, but it doesn't feel sticky or heavy at all and for someone with dry skin this is a God send.  Basically if you haven't given this brand a chance, you need to experiment with a company that have been serving us ladies since before your Granny's Granny was in lipstick!

Emma Stone : Coat Envy!

Is there even such a thing as Coat Envy? If there is I have it for various fashionable ladies of Hollywood, but that could just be chalked up to good old fashioned 'Closet Envy'! The Coat Envy this week comes courtesy of Miss Emma Stone. She can rock any colour hairstyle and still look fresh and fab, but it's her winter coat collection that I've been obsessing over in her candid shots lately! Here are just a few of her fantastically versatile and ever growing collection.
Here she's teamed her Maje jacket with some cute MiuMiu flats!

With bonus Anna Wintour and her amazing winter offering!

Emma's coat here is the Fay Funnel coat and runs for E890!

She ticks all the boxes for the best of the trends for A/W12. We've got toggle, checkered, vibrantly coloured, and even boucle!

Here are some of my highstreet alternatives to Emma's stylings:
Boucle from Dorothy Perkins for £69.
Found here

 Checked/Houndstooth style.

I love this Anastasia - Turquoise Womens Double Breasted Winter Coat from Amazon for a right steal at just £49.99! I think a really bright standout colour for a winter coat is a great tip for keeping things cheerful in a sea of black this cold season.

Bonus! Vibrant toggle/duffel coat.
Anyone that knows me, knows I love a red coat for winter / Christmas time. I don't know what it is but I've had mine now for two years, and it just really helps me get into the Christmas mood or something. I probably look like one of Santa's little helpers in my military style swing coat but I do love it so. It was also super handy this time last year when I was visiting Paris. I was the little blonde woman in the mad red coat, in a sea of unimpressed Parisians in the sea of black and grey!
This one has the leather detail similar to one of Emma's too, but for a fraction of the price.

What are some of your winter faves when it comes to wrapping up! Sound off below or on my twitter page if you see me there lovelies!
