I’ve never wanted to be a cat before this!

“Karl just pampers his feline friend, permitting her to sit in the cockpit with the pilot when they fly to St. Tropez because “she loves looking at the sky.” Choupette is quite enamored with her generous owner, obviously: “Choupette waits for me at the front door,” he says. “She doesn’t like being alone. She gets moody.”

The word ‘Style Icon’ is bantered about far too often with these chicks that rely on other people, sometimes lots of other people just to dress them for a concert, or a trip the the shops. Unacceptable and ridiculous. A photoshoot or red carpet you can understand, but just to shop and call the paps? Please.

Primark AW12 Pink Jacket, £15 via @Lookmagazine.

July Favourites!

Some people run to you tube for this! I’d rather write, because if I Vlog, I would ramble on forevvvver, and we can’t have that, now can we? No.

Four faves this month!

* Lancôme Hypnôse Doll Eyes Mascara.
*Collection (Formally Collection2000) Lasting Perfection Concealer.
*Benefit High Beam.
*Yves Saint Laurent -Fard À Lèvres Rouge Pur N°144 Silky Apricot.

First up I managed to finish my seemingly never ending tube of Doll Eyes from Lancome, and I have to admit, I wasn’t overly impressed with this. It didn’t really do what it said on the tin, at least for me, because I have very short crappy lashes and I wanted the promise of doll eye lashes and it just didn’t happen (sad face?). I find for the price £20.50, it just wasn’t that great and that the cheaper brands worked just as well on me, if not better. Pretty packaging, but not amazing. 6 out of 10.

Collection Last Perfection Concealer. Oh, my, God. I just don’t have enough good things to say about this little gem. Honestly. It’s perfection. (Do you see what I did there? Har-har.) I have dry/dehydrated Irish porcelain skin, and had trouble finding a concealer that worked and stayed in place without leaving my under eye area looking gross and cracked and what not. This, was such a good find, that after seeing so many Youtubers raving about it, that I just had to try out for myself. I’ve repurchased it twice now, and I am in love, and for the price - £4.19 - An utter STEAL. You can’t go wrong!! 9/10

An old favourite in my High Beam that I finished up yesterday, but it just had to be included because of all the highlighting products that I’ve tried this last few years (and there was A LOT let me tell you) I find this, while on the expensive side, is really the best, and in this instance you get what you pay for. Unlike the Lasting Perfection Concealer, where you should be paying more for such an amazing product! High Beam runs at 18.50, but in my humble opinion is worth it because it really leaves that stunning luminescent quality to your skin without looking like a reject from Twilight (not sparkly… Ok I’ll stop with the bad jokes.)
It is, for those of you that haven’t tried it yet, a pink tinted highlighter, light and satiny that when applied right, leaves your skin looking like you’ve slept for a hundred years and have had an IV of water and amazing-ness the entire time. Okay, well, maybe that’s slightly over stating it, but it really does give your skin a great boost when you’re feeling less than glowing naturally! Adore. 10/10.

Now the YSL lippy was given to me by my friend who was given some YSL products as gifts and it just didn’t suit her skin tone. It’s the first YSL lipstick I’ve tried, and I have to say, even with the daring (for me anyway) shade of a apricot orange tone, I loved it. The consistency was very similar to the Clarins lipsticks, but it left my lips feeling great, and the tone really blended well as a stain with some gloss or on it’s own. Smooth, pretty, hydrating to a point, and since I got it for free, I can’t really complain now can I? Price points for the YSL runs at £23.50.(Image via-

Is that a fake Celine? There is no gold stamp right? *squints*
